Who can register online?
U.S. citizens may use the online registration system, with the exception of those members who wish to register at the associate level.
Can I register online as a foreign member?
We are not currently accepting online registration for foreign members. However, you may register via mail, fax or email by downloading an application. Click here for all sport applications. Please mail, fax or email your application to USSA Member Services. Address and fax information is provided on our applications. Can I add another membership or a FIS registration later? Yes, but not through the online registration system. To add another membership or upgrade your existing membership simply call Member Service at 435.647.2666. To add a FIS registration, you'll need to complete the appropriate FIS registration form and submit it by mail, fax or email. Click here to access FIS registration forms.
What will I need to register online?
You'll need a Visa or Mastercard; debit or credit. In addition, you’ll need your primary insurance company name and an ID or policy number (if you have insurance). Renewing members must include their existing membership number even if it's been some time since you've held a current membership. Previous members may click here to locate your USSA number.
Why do I need a USSA account?
A USSA account will allow you to register and renew online, as well as update your personal information. The account must be created in the member's name.
I have more than one child. How do I register both on the same account?
Our online registration does not allow more than one child to be registered on the same account. Each individual member will need to create his or her own account.
How can I pay for my registration online?
We are currently accepting credit card (or debit card) payments using Visa or MasterCard.
Does USSA keep my payment information on file?
No, USSA’s system does not maintain any payment information. Payment information will be required for each transaction.
Can I update my contact information online?
Yes, after you have created and logged in to your account, you will have the option of editing your account information.
Is parent/guardian information required?
Yes, if the member is under the age of 18, parent/guardian information is required.
How do I choose my division?
Your division is determined by your club’s state affiliaton, or the state where you do most of your training and competing. If your club is affiliated with a state other than that in which you reside, please be sure to choose your club's state affiliation. For example: members residing in MD but participating with a club affiliated in PA should choose PA as their state affiliation.
Do I have to be affiliated with a club?
No, you do not. Some members choose to compete independently and are not affiliated with a club. However, you must choose the state where you do most of your training and competing.
Can clubs register or renew online?
Unfortunately, we are not currently set up for clubs to register or renew online at this time.
If I register online will my membership be active immediately?
USSA athlete memberships will be active immediately. However, if you hold a coach or official membership, you may be required to undergo a background screening prior to activation.
Will a late fee apply if I renew online after October 15?
Yes, the USSA late fee and any applicable division or state late fees will be applied online after Oct. 15. Youth members, new members, and officials are exempt from the USSA late fee. However, division or state late fees may still apply.
