Pending coaches and officials may check the status of their background screening using the Applicant Status Check tool on the NCSI website www.ncsisafe.com or by calling NCSI at 1.866.833.7100.
Pending coaches and officials are not eligible to participate for one of the following reasons.
1. The pending member has yet to register for background screening with NCSI, USSA's screening company.
2. The pending member may have registered, but the USSA has yet to receive a determination.
Once screening is complete and USSA has received a green light determination, the pending status is removed. At that time, the coach or official is eligible to participate in USSA events and will be able to print his/her membership card.
Coaches and officials that do not appear on Member Lookup are not current with USSA or have been inactivated for failure to register or complete the background screening process.
