SLALOM TECHNIQUE AND TACTICS
 

PRICE: $190 (MUST BE A CURRENT USSA MEMBER) -- To participate in the level 300 clinic, you must be a USSA level 200 certified coach, or in the process of completing your USSA level 200 certification.

NOTE: The clinic prices includes the on-snow clinic and Slalom Technique and Tactics online exam. It does not include the sport management online courses, the sport science online exams, the referee certification, or the CPR and First Aid certifications.

The Level 300 Slalom Clinic is for one whose high levels of skill and experience label him/her as a leader in the coaching profession, and one who daily makes a significant contribution to the development of alpine racers at all levels.

The Level 300 on-snow courses are designed to enhance the coaching skills of the candidate as well as to assess their personal coaching attributes. The Level 300 candidates will be introduced to a slalom teaching method based on five fundamental areas of technical and tactical evaluation and analysis, including stance & balance, carving, rhythm & timing, and tactics. This structure should make it easier to identify athlete strengths, and areas needing improvement, as well as providing technical and tactical fundamental concepts designed for slalom error correction.

The Slalom Technique and Tactics Clinics is one component of the Level 300 on-snow certification program. An online multiple-choice examination must be completed in order to successfully pass this course. This course may also be used as a continuing education credit.

SPEED TECHNIQUE AND TACTICS

GS TECHNIQUE AND TACTICS
